How does it work?

As a "micro" bakery, we operate a little differently...

We don’t have a physical location for customers to visit or place orders. We operate on a “micro” level aka our in-home kitchen. Because of that, we’re not able to do the whole *walk-in & place your order* type thing.

We’re a “pre-sale” ONLY type of business (at least for now!)

We’ll be releasing a menu every couple weeks (soon to be weekly), with limited quantities. Aka our menu drop! Once ordering “opens up” you’ll be able to place your order for the predetermined pick-up day.

Dibbs Sourdough is owned & operated by Andrew & Mariah

Andrew’s the baker/experimentor & Mariah is basically everything else 😜

We started experimenting with sourdough baking over a year ago when we lived on the mountains in North Carolina. Since then Andrew’s become obsessed with it, we decided to move back home to Buffalo, NY & see where this journey wants to take us!

Why Sourdough tho?

It's not just the taste we love...

The sourdough fermentation process brings out depth of flavor & slight tanginess, all thanks to wild yeast & bacteria doing their thing. This old-school method doesn’t just make the bread taste amazing, but also boosts its nutrition and makes it easier to digest vs. normal bread.

Each of our products are fermented for 12-36+ hours (length depends on the product) which helps break down the gluten making our sourdough products more digestable and also introduces the tanginess we all love.

👉 All of our products are made exclusively using a wild sourdough culture (aka the sourdough starter). None of our products contain commercial or instant yeast, conditioners, or preservatives.

How to Place an Order

Since we operate out of our home kitchen, we have to do things a bit differently. We’re a presale & pick-up only type of business.

#1. Sign up for notifications

We use a platform called HotPlate to help us with our menu drops & ordering. Sign up with your phone number to get added to our list. Once the next menu drops, you'll get a text to your phone so you get first dibbs!

#2. Once ordering opens, snag your goods

Once ordering opens, choose the sourdough products you'd like, along with your pick-up timeframe for the predetermined day. After you check out, kick back knowing your products are being made fresh to order!

#3. Pick-up your order

On pick-up day, you'll receive a text to remind you about your order. Stop by our porch (address given to you after you order) and snag your goods anytime within the window you chose. Enjoy!
